….Yeah, I’m getting the jibblies just thinking about it.

This was one of my favourite parts of the rangercast April Fools episode…that and the Hayden is dead jokes.
I didn’t listen to the last ten minutes (there is only so much that I can take.) but I was slightly disappointed they didn’t say anything to do with R5 as reasoning why you were not there.
It was a simple reason actually: I was working on Episode 50 and was too tired ^^;
I actually tried to get Mike in on this, since lampooning Go-on was inherent, but as he said, he was too damn busy. Now since we came up with futures for the rest of us (I have an internship, Chris is working on Spiderman: Take Flight, Ry is working on VRT2.0, Hayhay is dead), I wonder what we could have mentioned for Mike….
As for killing Hayden, I remember the rationale that went into that gag. Originally, he was going to be in the ep with us, but he was out of town and unavailable, so we decided we’d kill him off in this episode from the future. One of the ideas we bounced around before recording was starting the show reacting to him being gunned down or something right before we started to record. Oh god, if we could sell that happening, that would be the most EPIC opening ever.
