EPISODE 50B: Final Action 1.5 - “The Best of Times”
Featured in this portion: The Best of 07 which includes talk of Desperate Table Loving, Mai’s attempt to audition for Macross Frontier, and Mike finally figuring out how to pronounce B’z among other things. Oh and there’s a music interlude and possibly more well wishing messages.
PRODUCTION NOTES
-It’s taken me three days to try and get this thing uploaded to no avail. Put it up on Rapidshare for the time being until I can figure out an alternative means of upload that doesn’t suck.
-This is yet another episode involving Skype sessions. I know it dragged on a bit but it went better than I thought it could have. Fun bit to mention though is that the entire Best of 07 segment was improv.
-The song in the beginning is a parody of Kumi Koda’s “BUT” by Youtube user Ayu4real. Seemed all the more fitting due to the radio incident. She’s done a whole bunch of stuff in the past on YT but her accounts keep vanishing sadly.

What is the name of that classical sounding music – the music that was briefly played right before talking about Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry) in episode 50B ?
Steve - That’s the actual theme from the games I think. There was an eSnips folder of all the songs from the Nico Nico Douga Musical Suite and I grabbed that when I was unable to track down the actual theme.

Finally found it… The song is named, “Dear You”. Seems there’s a few different versions of the song, but couldn’t find just the piano version — the voice ones are nice though.
